Nazwa stanowiska: post-doc
Wymagania:
1. Practical knowledge of the following research techniques:
• Systemic and intracerebral administration of psychoactive substances and viral vectors to laboratory rodents
• Working with laboratory animals, performing behavioral tests on rodents
• Preparation and microscopic analysis of immunohistochemically stained nerve tissue
2. Excellent knowledge of the methods of quantitative morphometric analysis of nerve cells
3. Knowledge of basic statistical analysis techniques and results development using statistical software (eg STATISTICA, GraphPad Prism).
4. Very good command of English.
5. Experience in managing student work.
6. Willingness to acquire new skills and scientific development.
7. Independence and very good organization of laboratory work.
Specific Requirements:
1. PhD in biological sciences obtained not earlier than 7 years before the date of signing the employment contract.
2. Scientific achievements in the field of neuroscience documented by publications in journals from the Philadelphia list.
3. Authorization to perform and plan animal experiments (in accordance with the applicable Act on the protection of animals used for scientific or educational purposes, January 15, 2015).
In the current project, person in post-doc position will be responsible for the performance of viral vectors injections, execution of behavioural experiments, behavioural data analysis, multiplex RNA scope in situ hybridization, dendrite tracing performance and subsequent anatomical data analysis.
