  • Brief description of your expertise / expertise you are looking for:

    The Centre for European and Transition Studies (CETS) is a structure of the University of Latvia (LU), which is a public university and a major academic centre in Latvia; includes 13 faculties and more than 20 research institutes and centres - Innovation Centre, Business incubator, Tourism research centre and others. The LU participated in the Framework programmes, as well as implements Horizon2020 projects. There have been more than 400 EU and EEA/Norge funded projects implemented by the LU. The CETS is working on implementing research work and projects related to cross border research cooperation, innovation systems, digital transformation of businesses, improvement of digital public services, employment, social policy and labour market, social entrepreneurship promotion of cultural and creative industries, tourism promotion etc. The CETS closely cooperates with other LU structures and it has a substantial exchange and dissemination networks, both at the national level, regional and international level. Aims of the CETS are: to promote research activities in the areas relevant to Latvia and EU, European integration, international relations with non-EU countries; to endorse interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary activities, to support both academic and applied research through the development of research networks created in cooperation with relevant stakeholders, public institutions, ministries, and international organizations; to disseminate the results of research and non-formal education activities carried out by CETS through seminars, conferences, website content, social media and publications.

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    The CETS is interested to participate in the CHANCE Call project international consortium and benefit it with its knowledge and work experience. We would be willing to undertake the research work and contribute with our experience within areas of our research work related to digital transformation of businesses, improvement of digital public services, employment, social policy and labour market, social entrepreneurship promotion of cultural and creative industries, tourism promotion etc.
