  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

The COVID-19 crisis has precipitated the largest ever forced experiment in remote working. While this experiment is still ongoing, there is a growing consensus that while predictions of the death of the office are premature, it is likely that there will be a permanent shift towards increased remote working. Some kind of hybrid arrangement of split working time between the office and the home (or other ‘third space’) seems the most likely outcome, with digital technologies ubiquitous for many. But- this raises many questions; what are the implications for the further blurring of home vs work. What will new \'third spaces\' for physical interaction look like? Can networks and collaborations be sustained online - and how will new ones be generated with less time (particularly for older workers with established networks) spent \'in the office\'.
