    I am an expert in AI and the law. I have been researching on AI and legal ethics, especially the ethical regulation and use of Big data in relation to AI. I am keen to explore the notion of the ethical legal regulation and the ethical use of data, as we experience in real time the 4th Industrial Revolution, the Digitalization it carries within it, and the subsequent “penetration” of AI in our lives, all of which involve a constant flow and circulation of data in various forms. Hence, the need for a robust and ethically designed regulatory environment around AI. I am looking for experts in AI and the law, AI and insurance, AI and Transportation, AI and the environment and AI and Medicine

  • Brief description of your project / the project you would like to join:

    The disruptive character of AI and the gap in regulating AI result in barriers in its use. RAiTEM will addresses the need for a legal and ethical framework to address how AI algorithms should be designed to reflect and encompass a legally ethical regulation. RAiTEM is important as it will focus in developing a robust ethical legal framework around AI to allow its widespread use in transportation, environment, medicine, which constitute the chosen industries/sectors. RAiTEM will deliver three work packages (WP) directly connected to specific challenges of each of the chosen industries/sectors, and address two research questions (RQ) i..e a) the legal and ethical challenges that AI needs to address to warrant the ethical functionality of the AI in its application in the chosen sectors (transportation, environment, medicine) and b) the ethical legal regulation of data so as to protect privacy and freedom and basic human rights, looking at the the ethical legal regulation of data and AI in the chosen sectors (transportation, environment, medicine). The Working packages to be developed are WP 1: AI and Transportation; WP 2: AI and Environment and WP 3: AI and Medicine.
