Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR)

The Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) is the main funder of research activities in Luxembourg. The FNR invests public and private funds in research projects in various branches of science and humanities, with an emphasis on selected main strategic areas. Furthermore, the FNR supports and coordinates activities to strengthen the link between science and society and to raise awareness for research, as well as advises the Luxembourg government on research policy and strategy.

Starting in 2022, the NCN will cooperate with the FNR under the Weave programme.
