
Michał Seweryn, PhD

Biography:
Michał Seweryn is a mathematician by training with a PhD in Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics. He received post-doctoral training in genomics at The Mathematical Biosciences Institute and Center for Pharmacogenomics at The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. He has been working with the Pharmacogenomics Research Network and had been a part of the Center for Medical Genomics at the Jagiellonian University, Medical College. Currently, Michał holds a position at the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection, University of Łódź and is the head of the Regional Digital Medicine Center at the Copernicus Memorial Cancer Center in Łódź. He is working on molecular data analysis on large clinical trials – LCMC3, AFT-16 and others. Michał’s primary interest is in design of AI/ML tools for biomedical data analysis.
