Biography:
Tomasz Parkoła is the Director of Network Services Division at Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center. He manages R&D teams delivering innovative technologies for health care, education, governmental agencies & public institutions as well as cultural heritage & digital humanities. He oversees a team of 80+ professionals with expertise on AI & analytics, data management & discovery, long-term archiving & workflows, cloud & DevOps, UX/UI research & design, frontend & backend as well as QA & support services. He has been involved in a number of R&D projects, e.g. SSHOC, ECHOES, HERIFORGE, Data Space for Cultural Heritage, LUMEN, GRAPHIA, Dariah.lab Poland, Dariah.hub Poland, ERIHS.pl, 3DBigDataSpace and 3D-4CH. He is a board member in the IMPACT Centre of Competence and a co-head of DARIAH-EU's VCC on E-infrastructure. He is an author or co-author of several dozens of scientific and popular science publications. He holds several professional certifications, e.g. PMP®, PMI-ACP, UX-PM, ITIL DPI.
