The Trans-Atlantic Platform (T-AP) for Social Sciences and Humanities is a collaboration between humanities and social science research funders formed in 2013. At the beginning, it operated as a Coordination and Support Actions-type programme co-financed by the European Commission (2013-2016). At present, it operates a cooperation network for research funders from North America, South America and Europe and is funded by its member agencies.
So far, the network has launched three calls for international research projects:
- T-AP RRR Call 2021: Recovery, Renewal and Resilience in a Post-Pandemic World
- T-AP Social Innovation Call 2018
- T-AP Digging into Data Challenge 2016
The National Science Centre started to cooperate with the T-AP network in 2020 within the framework of the T-AP RRR Call 2021.
