Graduate of biomedical engineering (AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków). PhD in physical sciences at the Jagiellonian University (2019). Doctoral thesis concerning molecular characterisation of extracellular vesicles derived from platelets and urine and their potential application in nanomedicine.
During her doctoral studies, involved in research projects financed by the National Science Centre, National Centre for Research and Development, Foundation for Polish Science and Ministry of Science and Higher Education, both as the principal investigator and co-investigator. Between 2019 and 2023, managed the LIDER IX project (NCBR), to design and construct a prototype device for the isolation of extracellular vesicles from urine to diagnose complications in diabetes. Between 2023 and 2025, pursued a post-doctoral fellowship at the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Completed fellowships in foreign institutions, including: Loughborough University (UK), University of Lisbon (Portugal) and University of Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy). Co-authored several scientific publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and co-author of national and international patents on diagnostic methods in metabolic diseases. Presented her research outcome at numerous international conferences. In 2020, awarded the Polish Smart Development Award in the "Scientist of the Future" category.
Since April 2025, Discipline Coordinator for Life Sciences at the National Science Centre.
