Graduate of the Interfaculty Studies in Biotechnology at the University of Agriculture in Kraków. She wrote her master's dissertation, entitled Konwersja markerów DArT na markery oparte na PCR przydatne w weryfikacji roślin jęczmienia jarego o zwiększonej odporności na suszę [Conversion of DArT Marker to PCR-based Markers for the Verification of Spring Barley with Increased Drought Resistance], at the Department of Plant Physiology in cooperation with the Rzeszow University of Technology. In 2017, she earned her degree of doctor of agricultural sciences in agronomy, with a specialisation in plant biotechnology, at the Faculty of Agriculture and Economics of the University of Agriculture in Kraków, based on a thesis entitled Markery genetyczne mrozoodporności i tolerancji suszy u jęczmienia [Genetic Markers of Freezing Tolerance and Drought Tolerance in Barley]. Throughout her career, she has been involved in several research projects in plant biotechnology, genetics and physiology, and coordinated a project funded within the PRELUDIUM scheme, awarded by the National Science Centre. She has co-authored several scientific papers in journals from the Philadelphia list, as well as presentations at domestic and international conferences. She worked as Assistant Professor at the Department of Plant Physiology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
