Join us for the third edition of the EOSC National Tripartite Event Poland (NTE Poland 2025), which will take place at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, on 25 March 2025 (2 pm – 6 pm).

The event is a unique opportunity to explore Poland’s role in shaping the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), exchange best practices in research data management, and discuss the challenges facing national and European research infrastructures on their path to effective collaboration within the EOSC.

NTE Poland 2025 will precede the EOSC Steering Board meeting and the EOSC European Tripartite Event, both organized as part of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The meetings will bring together experts from the EOSC Partnership, representing 42 EU Member States and associated countries, to collaboratively develop strategic directions for further EOSC development, with a long-term perspective beyond 2027.

Event Scope

The EOSC National Tripartite Event 2025 is linked to the participation of the National Science Centre in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) initiative. As the Polish representative organization in the EOSC Association, the NCN plays a key role in shaping Open Science policy in Poland.

Event Programme

During the event, participants will learn about Poland's contribution to the EOSC Federation, discuss best practices in research data management, and analyze challenges related to collaboration between scientific infrastructures within the EOSC. Discussions will also cover the key Open Science aspects, the implementation of policies and tools supporting FAIR data, and perspectives on the further development of EOSC in Poland and Europe.

The agenda will feature speeches by representatives of the European Commission, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the EOSC Steering Board, and the EOSC Association. Key topics will include Polish resources within the EOSC, the role of infrastructures in the EOSC Federation, and disciplinary aspects of research data management. Participants will gain insights from experts and key stakeholders in the said areas.
