dr Anita Bielańska

Anita Bielańska is a PhD holder in Film Studies and MA holder in Italian Philology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She specialises in Italian cinema. In 2017, she defended her PhD thesis (with distinction) on the cinema of Vittorio De Sica. Due to doctoral scholarships (e.g. NCN’s Etiuda), she could conduct research in Rome, Milan and Siena. She has worked for the Jagiellonian University, Pedagogical University in Krakow and collaborated with the Italian eCampus University in Novedrate. Furthermore, she is a licensed Krakow tour guide.

Since 2020, she has been showing employed as a scientific coordinator of the National Science Centre (NCN). Her hobbies include guiding foreign tourists around Krakow and listening to electronic music.
