Logician and philosopher, assistant professor at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw; since 2014, Deputy Director for research and international cooperation at the Institute of Philosophy. Between 2004 and 2011, Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Telecommunication. She has completed two one-year long fellowships at the University of Helsinki and has made a few short research visits to Spain. She received her MA in Philosophy in 1999, BS in Mathematics in 2003, PhD in Logic in 2004 and became an assistant professor (doctor habilitowany) in 2016.

Her research interest is focused on Logic and applications of Logic in various areas, such as Philosophy, Mathematics and Cognitive and Computer Science in particular. She has recently worked on Logic for qualitative reasoning and its (relational) dual tableaux, and on non-Fregean logics with identity and equimeaning connectives. She has published several dozen papers in major journals and series. She has been a principal investigator and investigator in 4 European grants (COST, INTAS) and 7 national grants (funded by the National Science Centre and Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education).

She received a 3-year scholarship for outstanding young researchers from the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2010-2013), “START” award for young researchers, scholarship for talented researchers at the outset of their career from the Foundation for Polish Science (twice, in 2007 and 2008) and “Stay with us!” scholarship for outstanding young researchers from the Polish weekly journal Polityka (2003).
